The European Commission publishes new candidates for Horizon Europe European Partnerships

New European Partnerships to be launched during the second half of Horizon Europe in the framework of the elaboration of the Horizon Europe Strategic Planning for the period 2025-2027.

The European Commission (EC) has published the 10 proposal for new candidate partnerships 

  • Brain Health
  • Forests and Forestry for a Sustainable Future
  • Innovative Materials for EU (I’M for EU)​
  • In-Orbit Demonstration and Validation​
  • Raw Materials for the Green and Digital Transition​
  • Resilient Cultural Heritage
  • Social Transformations and Resilience
  • Solar Photovoltaics
  • Textiles of the Future
  • Virtual Worlds

The published document includes the concept descriptions of the new candidates, which have been elaborated by the EC services in line with the new impact-oriented policy approach set out in Horizon Europe. This includes the contributions of the Partnerships to the achievement of the EC's priorities in relation to the green and digital transitions, as well as to the open strategic autonomy of the Union.

Proposals for new partnerships will be discussed and agreed with Member States and partner countries in the coming months and are open to change.
