Registration Process

This section provides answers to common questions about creating and accessing your account on the Horizon Europe NCP Portal.

How do I register as a user?

Click "Login" at the top right of this page and complete the sign-up form. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with instructions to activate your account.

How do I register as an NCP?

NCPs follow the same sign-up process as regular users, but indicate your NCP's additional information. NCP accounts require manual validation, which typically takes 24 to 48 hours. You will receive a notification once your NCP account is validated.

What should I expect after registering on the Horizon Europe NCP Portal?

You will receive an email from no-reply@horizoneuropencpportal.eu with a link to confirm your email address and set your password.

What is the sender's email address for the confirmation message?

The confirmation email will come from: no-reply@horizoneuropencpportal.eu 

We recommend saving horizoneuropencpportal.eu as a trusted domain in your email client, to ensure that our emails don't get into your SPAM folder.

What should I do if I didn’t receive the confirmation email?

Check your junk or spam folder. If it’s not there, go to this page to set your password manually:

What should I do if I accidentally delete the confirmation email?

You can still set your password and activate your account using this link:

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. Enter your registered email and follow the instructions.

Be sure to write your email correctly, as the platform won't inform you if it is wrong.

I cannot access my account. What should I do?

  • Ensure you have already created an account on the NCP Portal, and not only on the NCP Virtual Campus.
  • Ensure your account is validated if you’re an NCP.
  • Ensure your email is correct, or use the password reset feature.

Content Access

This section outlines how users can access specific resources based on their account type, and explains why officially designated NCPs may experience access issues if their accounts are not fully validated or up to date.

How do I access specific resources or training material?

Access to content varies based on user type. 

General users can access all public content on the website.
NCP users, however, must log in with a validated NCP account to view resources exclusive to them in the NCP Corner section.

If you're having trouble accessing certain materials, please ensure you're logged in with the correct account and that you have the required permissions.

 

I am an officially nominated NCP, but I cannot access NCP-only content. Why?

There are several possible reasons:

  • I have been nominated, but do not appear on the official list. Please note that nominated NCPs must accept the personal data processing clause in order for their information to appear on the public list in the Funding & Tenders (F&T) Portal. We recommend reviewing the F&T Portal to ensure this step has been completed.
  • Your nomination has not yet been published in the official list of nominated NCPs or formally notified to the European Commission.
  • Your nomination has been notified, but your NCP account has not yet been validated by our portal administrators (this process may take 24–48 hours).
  • The content you’re trying to access may be restricted to a specific NCP functionality that you do not belong to.

 

Will I receive notifications about events or updates?

The NCP Portal does not currently offer a notification or mailing list system for general users, so we recommend visiting the website regularly to stay informed.

However, NCP users are automatically subscribed to the NCP Portal’s mailing list and receive occasional updates and event information through the newsletter.

Account Setup by Platform

This section explains the different accounts required to access the services offered through the NCP Portal and the Virtual Campus.

Are the NCP Portal and Virtual Campus accounts connected?

No, the NCP Portal and NCP Virtual Campus are separate platforms. 

If you want access to both, you’ll need to register for each one individually. It is advised to use the same institutional email address.
