Open Call for Proposals: EIT Water Partnership

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has opened a call for proposals for the implementation of the new partnership "KIC Water: Transforming Europe's Water, Marine and Maritime Sectors," aimed at driving the sustainable transformation of Europe's water, marine and maritime sectors.
Deadline for proposal submission: June 17, 2025.
EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) receive funding from the EIT for up to fifteen years. KIC Water may receive an initial budget of up to €5 million in 2026 to establish its innovation ecosystem. The partnership is expected to achieve financial sustainability beyond the EIT-funded period, leveraging close collaboration between education, research, and businesses.
During the EU Ocean Days 2025 in Brussels, the EIT will host an information session about this call on March 7, 2025.
