The international conference “Europe and Mobilities: Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Economic Transformations”, will take place on June 4-6, 2025, at the University of Warsaw as part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The conference will focus on key socio-economic transformations and challenges facing Europe today - their description and interpretation, and a discussion of possible policy responses.
A series of thematic panels will address the challenges that shape debates on the present and future of the European Union.
These will include
- issues of demography and migration,
- political challenges related to the EU's neighbourhood,
- and the crisis of liberal democracy.
The conference will examine the technological changes and green transformation that are redefining the European economy. Leading academics, policy-makers, and representatives of international and non-governmental organisations will actively participate in the conference and contribute to the debate.
