Innovation Fund 2024 Call and Battery Info Day

On 17 and 18 December, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) are hosting an info day to present the key features and award criteria of the upcoming Innovation Fund 2024 Call (IF24 Call) and the Innovation Fund 2024 Battery call (IF24 Battery), and present the lessons learned from previous calls to demonstrate best practices.

The IF24 Call has designated €2.4 billion for projects that have a significant potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in various sectors including, cleantech manufacturing, maritime, renewables, energy storage and energy-intensive industries. The IF24 Call will cover the following 5 topics: General decarbonisation for large-scale, medium-scale, and small-scale projects, plus cleantech manufacturing and pilots.  

The IF24 Battery Call has allocated €1 billion for electric-vehicles battery cell manufacturing projects that demonstrate innovative technologies, processes, or products. The application window for both calls will be open until April 2025. 

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions via Slido using #IF24Call. Presentations and recordings will be made available afterwards on this page.

To attend the event, it is necessary to register by Monday 16 December 2024, 12:00 (CET).
