Horizon Europe Glossary

This glossary, developed on the occasion of the launch of the Horizon Europe program (2021-2027), introduces the readers to the key terms that they may encounter in reading the official EC documents and campaigns in the early months of the Horizon Europe program.

Each new European Commission Research and Innovation programme brings in a renewed set of policy concepts, objectives and desired impacts. Along with it, the European Commission introduce a consistent amount of new terms and acronyms, and all actors (from National Contact Points to potential applicants) need to understand them and communicate them properly.
