Agroecology Partnership

The Agroecology Partnership, funded by Horizon Europe, unites the European Commission and 72 partners across 26 Member States, Associated Countries, and Third Countries.

Supporting agriculture sector that is fit to meet the targets and challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, food security and sovereignty, and the environment, while ensuring a profitable and attractive activity for farmers.

Provides funding for Projects that aims to promote spaces for long-term, site-specific, multi-stakeholder experimentation and provide adoption-ready practices that support farmers in understanding and implementing practices.
Funding dimension of projects Total pool resources of EU and involved states/regions: 150€ (EU)+150€ (partners). There is no maximum budget defined per project. However, each funding organisation has defined a maximum limit for funding for each project and/or each partner in each project. 
Dimension of consortium At least 3 eligible partners requesting funding from at least 3 different countries and from 3 different Funding Parties who contribute funds to the co-funded call. Partners from a single country shall not exceed 60% of the total number of person months allocated to the project.
Envisaged impact Team-up and unlock the transition to agroecology so that farming systems are resilient, productive and prosperous, place-sensitive, as well as climate, environment, ecosystem, biodiversity and people-friendly by 2050.
