Draft work programme for Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment for 2026-2027 is published

The European Commission has announced a significant step forward in transparency and planning for upcoming research initiatives. As part of its preparations for the 2026–2027 work programme, currently under discussion by various programme committees, the EC will provide ongoing access to intermediate draft versions via its transparent Comitology Register website.

Unlike previous cycles, this initiative allows the research and innovation community to review draft versions that are still in development but may change before the official publication scheduled for the end of 2025. This move is expected to enable researchers, institutions, and stakeholders to better anticipate future calls and prepare more effectively.

The European Commission will regularly update a dedicated table with links to these draft versions, ensuring stakeholders have timely access and can stay informed throughout the ongoing development process. This new approach underscores the EC’s commitment to transparency and proactive engagement with the research community, fostering a more coordinated and efficient research ecosystem in the upcoming funding cycle.
