Inspiring Participation in Warsaw Workshop: How to Approach Cluster 6 Funding Opportunities

Warsaw, Poland - A dynamic workshop in Warsaw ignited a spark of innovation as enthusiastic participants collaborated on crafting cutting-edge project proposals for the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 2025 call. Attendees, working in focused groups, delved into the intricacies of specific call topics, pinpointed key challenges, and brainstormed transformative solutions.

At the heart of the workshop was the "Proposal Strategy Canvas" a powerful tool designed by Evropi-Sofia (PRAXI) to empower teams to rapidly frame their project concepts. Participants used the canvas to clearly define expected outcomes, align their work with pressing EU priorities, and articulate their core innovations.

The workshop culminated in each group presenting their meticulously crafted canvases, fostering lively discussions and generating invaluable feedback. 

The workshop agenda featured a series of targeted presentations designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for navigating the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 funding landscape. 

Maria Joao Fernandes (ANI) gave us a new angle on how to understand the opportunities, priorities with focus on the 2025 calls projects.

Astrid Guiffart CARE4BIO's project officer at REA gave a good presentation about Lessons learnt and tips from previous calls evaluation with a focus on scale and significance.

Camille Dehestru (HUB BRUSSELS) and Annachiara Alberico (APRE) kicked off the focused sessions with an insightful overview of consortium building. They provided practical guidance on effective partner searching using resources like Cordis and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), along with strategies for leveraging brokerage events to forge strong collaborations.

Following this, Professor Remigiusz Panicz (West Pomeranian University of Technology Poland) shared invaluable first-hand experience from both a coordinator and partner perspective within Cluster 6 projects. His real-world insights offered attendees a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in leading and participating in successful projects.

The afternoon session dived deep into the crucial topic of proposal writing, where Federica Tanghetti and Annachiara Alberico (APRE) provided a comprehensive breakdown of the proposal template. Their presentations offered practical tips and strategies for crafting compelling narratives and maximizing impact. Session focused on demystifying the proposal process, ensuring participants felt confident in their ability to articulate their project's value and secure funding.

Collectively, these presentations offered a powerful combination of practical tools, real-world experience, and expert guidance, empowering participants to build strong consortia, navigate the proposal process effectively, and ultimately increase their chances of securing Horizon Europe Cluster 6 funding."
