Second Cycle of Technical Assistance to Support Communities of Actors to Achieve the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters Objectives is open until December 13. The technical assistance aims to support selected applicants in developing, facilitating and strengthening their actions contributing to one or more of the targets of the Mission Ocean and Waters. No financial support is provided under this call but participants will have access to gain access to technical assessments and feasibility studies.

The technical assistance aims to aid selected projects in supporting the EU's Mission Ocean and Waters by providing tailored technical assessments and feasibility studies.

This assistance addresses applicants' regulatory, technical, economic, environmental, and commercial needs, evaluating project viability and offering improvement recommendations.

Eligible applicants include ports, fisheries, and islands, with actors like local authorities, NGOs, private entities, and professional associations. Projects must be based in EU Mission lighthouses basins, e.g. the Atlantic and Arctic basin, Mediterranean Sea basin, Baltic and North Sea basin, or the Danube River basin

Up to three applications per Member State are selected, with Italy and Croatia already reaching their limit. The assistance spans 4-6 months, with no financial support provided.
