Open call for the Business Idea Validation Bootcamp

As part of the EIC Tech to Market (EIC T2M) Entrepreneurship Programme, the European Innovation Council (EIC) invites EIC Pathfinder (former FET-Open and FET- Proactive), EIC Transition, and all innovators eligible for EIC Tech to Market (see section “Who can apply”) to apply for the EIC T2M Business Idea Validation Bootcamp. The new batch will kick off virtually in October 2024

This open call invites participation from EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, ERC-POC, FET Flagship, Women TechEU beneficiaries, EIC Seal of Excellence holders, and Horizon Europe Pillar II (Digital Industry and Space, Climate, Energy and Mobility, Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment) keen on a dynamic 4-week engagement. 
 

This intensive bootcamp runs from 15th October to 8th November 2024, demanding 8 to 12 hours per week. Topics covered include Design Thinking, Business Model Design and Business Model Canvas, Business Idea Planning and Validation, Impactful Pitching, and access to early-stage funding. 

The event will be mainly focused on: 

  1. Personalized Support: Align research outcomes with tangible business challenges. Access insights from industry experts.
  2. Design Thinking Methodology: Propel projects from research to impactful innovation using a proven methodology.
  3. Real-world Feedback: Engage with industry representatives and investors through online interviews for a valuable 'reality check' on business models.
  4. Business Model Validation: Strengthen entrepreneurial mindsets, design thinking skills, and business strategies with expert guidance.

The application for this initiative is open only to EIC Pathfinder (ex. FET-Open and FET-Proactive), EIC Transition, ERC-POC, FET Flagship, Women TechEU beneficiaries, EIC Seal of Excellence holders, and Horizon Europe Pillar II (Digital Industry and Space, Climate, Energy and Mobility, Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment).
