Public Consultation on the ERA Act Open for Feedback

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the European Research Area (ERA) Act through the Have Your Say Portal.
The planned ERA Act aims to address long-standing challenges in the EU’s research and innovation ecosystem — including fragmented regulatory frameworks, uneven R&D investment, and barriers to knowledge sharing.
This questionnaire forms a key part of the consultation process and follows the Call for Evidence, which closed on 10 September.
Public consultation period: 13 October 2025 - 05 January 2026 (midnight Brussels time)
Initially available in English, the questionnaire will soon be translated into the other 23 official EU languages. The consultation will remain open for 12 weeks after all language versions are published.
