CEDEC, the European Federation of Local Energy Companies, represents the interests of more than 1500 local and regional energy companies - mostly in public hands - serving 85 million electricity and natural gas customers & connections, with an annual turnover of 120 billion € in ten European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland. CEDEC’S MISSION IS TO: Guarantying an adequate interest representation by European bodies for local companies ; Promoting exchange of knowledge and best-practices, relating to the abovementioned areas of activity, between its members and Association and national and international institutions concerned.
